Kong Films is a production company founded by Aymeric Bolé, Hugo Deghilage and Maxime Dieu — three partners with complementary skill sets. Its purpose is the production and co-production of films, both feature-length and short, Belgian and international. Kong Films’ editorial line favours singular, bold works driven by emerging authors. Proudly based in Mons, in the Hainaut province, the “Kong” in its name refers both to the ape that symbolises the city of Mons and to cinema’s famous XXL character.
